Oh, how beautiful! Both the shed and the fox! I want that shed. We are not allowed to have one, though. America, the land of the free (so long as you don’t have an HOA and your neighbors are okay with it).

Took my rollator off-roading yesterday, a walk around ‘Skylarks’, my local nature reserve. Great practice walking on grass and bumpy paths :slight_smile:

@Strings
You got some beautiful pictures there. You get the walk and a souvenir too! I’m sure you will be going on that walk again soon, well I would. The view will change as autumn colours begin to show, chance for more pictures. I’ve suggested it before, but a series of pictures of the same scene throughout the year makes a good subject.
Make the most of any good weather and enjoy your adventures. I am quite envious.

Keep on keepin’ on

Thanks Bobbi. Skylarks will become a regular walk. Years ago it was just a part of my much longer morning bike ride but now it’s one of my main options to get out and about.

Went out with my DSLR to Colchester Zoo this week, will post one or two later. In the meantime here’s a selfie of me having my thatch inspected by a Rainbow Lorikeet

Thanks Simon, I rather like random collections of photos, nearly always something one can relate to ( cakes in this case) :grin:

Rups is a great one for mushroom gathering, he knows which are safe and which not. I believe they can be very tasty but I’d never risk gathering them myself.

The only ones I’ve gathered around here are blewits which are easy to spot. Some years there are loads then some years none at all. Quite nice just sautéed in sunflower oil or butter.

Well, maybe the Brits aren’t but I am…I doubt there is any place on earth more lovely. I am landlocked but do have a fishing hole out back.

Hey @SimonInEdinburgh does your cat have cataracts? It’s left eye looks all cloudy :thinking:

:rofl: I’ll have to remember that one should I ever have the need of a Roller :smile:

Also, there is an app called Seek by iNaturalist you can download for free, which would identify plants, fungi, insects, animals, fish, etc you might find handy when out on walks. I find it useful identifying plants I see in peoples gardens that take my fancy :smile:

So glad you found it. I thought I would be with the American Stroke association or foundation, but bless my brain, didn’t think to type American and ended up here. Way better, in my humble opinion!
