I think I also heard on the news yesterday that Jessie J (who was announcing that she has breast cancer) had a stroke as a teenager.

Indeed - it led to a discussion on this very forum …

For anyone who is not a Queen fan, and possibly as a bit of pop trivia, Brian May is lead guitarist with the bad and he wrote “Keep Yourself Alive” which was released as the debut single by the band in 1973.

I should clarify in case of any confusion here, Queen in this case is the pop/rock band and not Her (late) Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.

Keep Yourself Alive btw is a brilliant song and worth looking up.

@Mrs5K, I believe the newsreader you are thinking of is none other than Rageh Omaar nicknamed “The Scud Stud” whilst working for the BBC and reporting on the Iraq war.
