@axnr911 Oh no i didn’t take what you said wrong. I was just observing that i don’t have a great imagination- i’ve always said i was at the back of the queue when they gave imagination out
Now I will need to ponder the riddle. Initially I thought it might be because Captain Smith was the Captain of the Titanic and thay sunk in 1912 before the war started. But of course Smith is a very common surname.
So then I got thinking that maybe he was in the RAF which wasn’t forned until 1918 but Captain and Batallion are definitely an Army term so can’t be that either.
I’m back. I am wondering whether something presented at the time would just have said for bravery, daring & leadership durung the world war or the specific battle. I don’t know but did the war only get whwn the 2nd world war happened because at the time they wouldn’t have known about the 2nd
Ann-- you guessed the riddle about the inscription on the sword. It wouldn’t be called “World War One”, since World War Two hadn’t happened yet. This war was called the Great War.
The lady in the swing–I could only find the bottom swing had a rope tie hanging from the swing and the shoes on the bottom seem to be a little lighter in color.
I have found two definite differences (Swing/rope and dress/top)
A possible third is in the clouds but it is hard to say due to the colour hues of light blue and white.
Found all 3 but that took some doing, and for that 3rd one I really had to enlarge the image.
Now I don’t know if I should put the icepack on my head or my eyes
Thank you, EmeraldEyes, I see it now in the cloud at her foot. But even enlarged it’s hard to see.
Here’s a riddle: You see a boat filled with people. It has not sunk. But when you look back, you don’t see a single person on the boat. Why?
Answers to Find 3 differences
A wrinkle in the back of the blouse
The rope fastener and the seat
The cloud at the far right has more visible at the base of it
ManjiB and Ann-- you are right. They are all married. I can see I’m going to have to do much better in searching for hard riddles or puzzles. I’ll work on it.
