the backslash at the end is important
that should be:
the forward slash at the end is important /
(on a UK keyboard it is under the ? key)
rofl
we haff ways of making you get it
I was in tears laughing at the three of you, thanks for the evenings entertainment
I love motor bikes, had one of my own sooo long ago now, not as big as those ones though …
The trouble is @Pds you need more than one image to see the benefit of using the grid
I think your \ should be a / @Mahoney
Worth a try.
Did you put [/grid] on the next line after your last pic, that makes all the difference
And did you actually include the square brackets ‘[’ ‘]’ either side of the word ‘grid’ didn’t you? I’ve known people in the past assume you’re only asking for what is between the brackets. And the put a forward slash / before the word grid and also within square brackets, below your last pic.
Yaaay you did it
And well worth the wait they are too
Where is that?
Mine would too
Yay it worked. That looks a nice place to go for a stroll @Mahoney
I had not realised that this challenge was going to be so challenging.
A big
. . . and to those still puzzling don’t give up, you will do it,
Keep on keepin’ on
@Mahoney and anyone else affected
I wrongly called it a backslash at least once on the forum, could well be me who is to blame.
Just add it to the list, the very long list, of things I have got wrong.
I apologise for all the dismay and consternation of which I have been the cause.
I’ll try and put it right and will be more careful in the future.
oops, let us stride forward with a forward slash /
That looks like a lovely walk, with some interesting views. You might think it is nothing special but each of us has their own personal view of the world. It is this that makes it fascinating.
Keep on keepin’ on
@SimonInEdinburgh can I suggest starting a new thread, which might be of interest to some, giving a tutorial and practice area for markup. From what I’ve read html is discouraged as it is being phased out. In the future posts using it may no longer function as expected.
Well, we were in Devon @SimonInEdinburgh so thought we’d better have Devon ones
@Mahoney
At the risk of getting it wrong again, a favourite pastime of mine, I will insist that these pictures are a delight to view. Thanks for sharing. You are lucky to have such picturesque surroundings - to be enjoyed whenever possible, obviously.
It would be interesting to view these same views through the seasons’ changes.
Keep on keepin’ on
Great pics @Mahoney you have some lovely walks near by.
My grid will work eventually…
