Will you try this picture challenge?

This is easy to do, but hard to describe, so please bear with me.
I want you to create your own small gallery on this thread.

First you need at least four images.
They can be any size or shape.
When you have your images, open a new post in this thread.

In your post type in the following with square brackets:

[grid]

Under this, on a new line, insert your first image
Again on a new line, insert the next image
Continue to insert your images one by one, each on a new line.

When you’ve completed this, again on a new line, type the following :

[/grid]

The whole thing will look like this:

[grid]
link to first image
link to next image
link to third image
link to image etc
[/grid]

Now click the Reply button for your post and admire your handiwork.

Why not try it out here on this thread?
I’m looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Keep on keepin’ on

Thank you @Mahoney and @SimonInEdinburgh too

Well done ! . . . and thanks for sharing.

It sizes them nicely for you, no need to do anything special.
Click on an image to view and you can then scroll through them all.
Again, I think the pics are all interesting, I enjoyed viewing them.

Who will be next?

It isn’t as big a deal as you might imagine.

@SimonInEdinburgh
In digiKam select the image you want to address then select ‘Tools’ (on top bar) and in the drop down select ‘Image Editor’ click ‘Transform’ then ‘Resize’.

I hope that helps, just ask. Lots of functions available.

The shots are a few years old, just random from a folder on my pc.
I live quite close to the National watersports centre at Holme Pierrepont and there is a handy bridge over the canoe slalom course.

Wow @Strings they are some pictures. It would scare me witless but that doesn’t stop me admiring the skill needed to do that.
