Hello everyone, nice to be back amongst you all. I’ve been AWOL for a while, a little setback laid me low, but just like the proverbial bad penny, here I am! Like all of us post stroke, I’ve made good progress, but of course the bad days still come and kick you up the wotsit. Overall though, things are good around here. I’ve had lots of good milestones which has boosted me a lot, silly things that no-one else would bother about. Like recently I went to a bit of a posh ‘do’. I was determined not to go in my trusty ole sturdy flat shoes. So I dug out some nice court shoes. I thought if I go flat on the floor, I’m sure somebody will pick me up! Needless to say I didn’t, and I felt like a million dollars. And I got a few ‘don’t you look good.’ So I hope that anyone who was in the deepest doldrums like I was back then, can put on the shoes and get out there! (Please don’t use the 6/7inch high ones. I am not resposible for the consequences.) Nice to be back.

Welcome back @Norma751 i was only thinking the other day we hadn’t seen you for a while.
Glad you enjoyed your posh do & mastered the shoes. I couldn’t walk in heels pre stroke…i’d probably seriously injure myself if so tried now
