So after a long chat with my partner and me being on the fence about the whole idea, she managed to convince me to post my track about stroke here, since Top of the Apoplexy has just recently dropped on all the streaming services and has been submitted to a few radio stations. I was hesitant because I am a secular chap who doesn’t worship deities and was concerned my view might put some people”s back up about the the track, but as she said to me, either they will like it or ignore it .
I think that’s absolutely brilliant and thoroughly enjoyed watching it What a talented guy you are and I love your voice. Please…….keep entertaining us!
I’ve subscribed to your YT channel and hope others will, too.
Diolch yn fawr, Trace, my friend says to me, oh you are just trying to sound like Leonard Cohen, but I have a low timbre when I sing, especially into a microphone. If I were to sing high, I would sound like a banshee.
I love this!!! Very steampunk y and says it all about stroke, just how I feel most of the time , so real. Love the video too (are they still called videos in this AI age….ah dunno boot things like that)…..u is soooo talented x
Diolch yn fawr, I’ve got myself a small portable PA, mic and voice box. Next phase is to give it a go performing the tracks live at some of the local pubs. It”s all very well for me to sit in the comfort of my home, laying tracks and vocals behind a screen, but I feel I ought to see what it is like to be eaten alive in front of a modest audience.
I’m not close enough to lend a hand but you gotta take someone along with a smartphone to film the whole show.
If you choose to attempt this I only hope that there will be more than a scattering of bones remaining after the live audience devours the performance.
No doubt my partner will film it warts and all, got to practice first though. Last attempt at being on stage last year was a disaster, I’m probably one of the few people to get sacked from amateur community theatre .
Absolutely brilliant,I enjoyed every second you are indeed a very talented clever being.thats the second time you’ve mentioned time, which is so pertinent to me as post-stroke I suffer from dyschronometria (time blindness)
So glad I popped in today or I might have missed this I’m loving these and Get Over It is now on my workout playlist for the gym. I’ve only managed to listen to these first two this morning but I think I’m gonna enjoy the others later.
Listen to your partner, she talks sense.
Off to my aphasia group just now. Love the hat by the way.
Diolch yn fawr for your kind words. I looked up dyschronometria and it seems to stem from the cerebellum, so I guess I may have some of that too in some sense. Perhaps, it explains why I have ticking clocks in every room.
