I like these kinds of overviews that avoid popular science which I find counterintuitive. Diolch for sharing, I shall bookmark it. At the moment, my skullcap and valerian combo seems to be doing the trick, so I am well chuffed with myself.
Thank you for sharing. Some useful bits of info in there.
Looking for new ideas to find sleep. How do you do it? I have difficulty clearing my mind of nonsense.
Deigh
@Deigh - a good start might be breathing exercises and mindfulness! In case you are tempted to write it off, I should say that it is not as simple as it sounds and unless you do it right you will not realise the benefits. But do it right and you surely will find all sorts of health benefits from this approach.

Have a look at this Deigh and see if it helps. It takes daily practice but if it helps people from war zones with PTSD, I imagine it has some grounding in psychological science.
Now. that is worth looking at! I concede that my breathing is not all that good at this time and I was recently taken into hospital for an overnight stay after complaining of shortness of breath, They taught me how to use a ventilator and sent me home with one and a prescription for regular supplies. Iām down to using it once or twice a week now but it shows when Iām not breathing properly.
