Hello there stokiejoey, I can relate to you having a different perspective on life as I had my stroke at the age of 45. I lived pretty hard and loud as if I were still in my 20s, and then in an instant I saw just how fragile life is.

You certainly do mate. I’ve always been ’ 1 of the lads’ At work I was always joking an messing about. My wife would always tell me " you’re there to work! Take pride in your work and laugh and joke about on breaks" She was right. As it stands it’s been 18 months since I last worked and just hoping when the time comes my boss keeps his promise to me and gives me my old job back
