@Baldrick Keep me updated as to how you are feeling. I am just back after being home in Scotland spending time with my children & grandchildren. My Grandchildren are like prescription medicine, they make you feel amazing and you forget you have had a stroke. I am truly blessed with my immediate family. Take care

Thats lovely of you to ask. And nice to know of your Scottish holiday too - as we have a holiday planed for February half term. So your holiday sounds very encouraging and inspiring. You are right about the kids their enthusiasm is contagious and I have found them inspirational and accepting - like I have said elsewhere it’s an amazing generation. And yes it’s nice to forget for a bit though important to accept this is the new version of ourselves - in the way that injuries are dealt with after an accident (car crash for instance) or thats what I tell myself.
Apologies rambling again - you are correct family are the greatest blessing - we are lucky indeed.

@Baldrick I am off to Brighton on Friday for the Queen by candlelight concert and so looking forward to it. I will probably be exhausted by the end of the night but I have my chiropractor appointment on the Saturday morning so that will revive me and the hairdressers for some therapy. @Baldrick This is the first time in months I have felt almost normal as before I treaded lightly with everything and would not go places. So tomorrow is a big challenge. Take care, love to you and your family

That is so good Irene. Enjoy the concert tonight getting out does us all good amd what better than a Queen concert!
I went to see Wicked 
with the kids last week (Trust me, dont do it!), and I realised I had unknowingly shut myself away. So ive decided to go to a couple of Christmas dos - not the full event but look in at the start for an hour or so - people have welcomed this enthusiastically and understand that on the day I may not make it! God willing it will work out.
Say how the concert goes if you can please? ……
We want to brake free!
