@mrfrederickson , those are more sensible mods. It’s what you need with a car (i.e. built in Sat Nav and Bluetooth your phone). Good model '02 version. Better ride quality. I had to admit, looking at the photo, I thought it was the 7 series. Almost looks like it.
@mrfrederickson , I should’ve know it was the '02 model. It was the front grill and bumper that threw me.
Hi Johnny understand able to it was a late 2002 my second one was 2003 a an individual variant having custom leather and a pearlescent flip paint job
@mrfrederickson , on the later versions of those cars, some had massage seats and a slightly more powerful engine (approx. 10bhp). Love the pearlescent paint job. A mate of mine had his car in pearlescent paint. It cost a bit though, more than the metallic look.
Yes having lived with it I would have opted for just metallic paint as the touch up paint is nearly £40 for a small touch up pencil as it had flecks of gold in it, and initially I used to loose the car in big car parks as the cooour changes and I thought it was one or the other All the bonus of secondhand cars at least the initial owner paid the cost and I got it for free.
@mrfrederickson fair point. It’s better than paying for it brand new. The second car market is nuts. I read a report quite a while ago that the cost of some second hand cars have gone up between £2000-nearly £5000 depending on what you buy. Finding a bargain is almost a minefield.
@mrfrederickson , £40 for a touch up pencil?
Whoever sold you that must be laughing.
Thankfully back in 2012 and it was BMW that sold it specially made in Germany for my paint code.
Those days are gone as is the car.
I now have a motobility Kia Sportage pet
Very handy
@mrfrederickson , hmm, a Kia Sportage? Not bad. So you’ve got a crossover type car. Interesting cars. For me, they are hatchbacks with raised suspension. A little more roomier so I’m told. The shape of the Kia Sportage is similar the the Kia Cee’d.
They are roomy and I’m not a midget so welcome
We had a ceed before going to motobility and a couple of Sportages before that so bought into the brand and driving interface.
Can’t fault a 7 year 100k miles warranty as I’m no longer able
