Hi Anne I just found out that my friend in hospital died on 21st of January.
Hi John,
That is so sad and I’m really sorry to hear that. Sending my heartfelt condolences to you, her family and all that knew her.
May she rest in peace.
I hope that you are ok.
Ann xx
She was 55.
She survived a heart attack just before Christmas and got home for Christmas then just after Christmas She got pneumonia and ended up back in hospital and never came out
Her body was probably exhausted from the heart attack and then the pneumonia. 55nis no age at all..
So sorry to hear that news nerrad67.
No love I’ve known her for 4 years
I tried the electrodes last night Anne and looks like I put them in the right place.
Here are 2 pictures 1 before electrodes kicked in and 1 after
Looks like they worked well. Did you mark where you put them so you get them in same place next time?
Yes Anne. The botox injections helped
You know what Anne this morning while I was in bed I had a spasm that started at my legs and went all the way up to my head then I felt weak and weird.
I have baclofen at night for the spasms but I’m going to contact my doctors tomorrow . I have to go on NHS app and fill a triage form in then wait.
It’s weird
That doesn’t sound very nice. A good idea to contact the dr to get checked out. We have the same system as you to book a gp appointment.
Did you get a Dr’s appointment?
Not yet will let you know if I do
I tried having baclofen later than I do and it looks like it’s working no spasm when I woke up
That sounds great. The timing of taking medication can make a difference to their benefits.
Hi Anne hope your ok .
Got my electrode appointment next week.
I was doing my step down practice with my step today and my foot freaked so I fell over onto the floor but I managed to get up with the help of my bad leg which showed me that the 1 leg stands without the splint has made my leg stronger
Sorry to hear you had a fall. Hope yoh weren’t hurt. Good news about your bad leg helping you get up. It definitely shows that your hard work is paying off.
Yes.
I’ve got my electrode appointment Wednesday but I don’t think I will be having them for long and I’m worried that when they stop and botox stops however I am by then I will be like it for the rest of my life
Just keep taking the appointments whilst they are available and try not to worry about how you might be in months / years time. Take each day as it comes. You’re making progress and no reason why you can’t continue to do so.
Thanks for the advice Anne it’s helped me alot
