Mum recovering from massive stroke - I'm exhausted

Emerald is right on it, as usual. I go back and forth with that issue. Sometimes it hurts, sometimes itches, but kind of depends on the reason. I have had issues with them due to COVID, due to allergies (itchy), due to fever (painful). There are just so very many reasons, very hard to narrow down. Most often the reason is actually from using them so much, trying to focus, to see my surroundings, to see a persons face, to read, to watch television…

Now it’s burning , bleeding down her private areas and even groin area I think .
Stool is acidic .
They gonna try to change diet liquid , use diff barrier creams
Anyone experienced it and what helped you ? Please help me as I’m willing to buy anything to help the nurse help mum even more .
Lots of love

@Lily3 oh my that must be horrible for your mum & for you seeing it too. Have they identified the cause of the diarrhoea? Hopefully the diet change will help but that’s unlikely to be immediate - will take a few days to settle. I hope they’re cleaning her promptly & dealing with everything as they need to be. I have no advice i’m afraid i just hope the barrier creams etc work quickly.

Really hope things settle quickly xx
