I feel I garbled the words somewhat but maybe I should continue if only in hope of finding a direction.
welcome, it is good to have you here
As you journeyed through time,
you might have noticed
huge signs written large
and visible everywhere.
You have travelled far
We you might as well relax
and take a break.
(music)
Why not read one of these signs?
The lettering reaches up,
almost to the clouds.
It declares:
YOU HAVE REACHED THE PLATEAU.
Smaller letters,
almost unreadable,
appear to say:
NO PROGRESS IS POSSIBLE BEYOND THIS ZONE
We you might as well relax
and take a break.
There are all sorts of possibilities.
It might be dangerous to proceed,
but will it be safe to stay here?
Into Neverland
Could this be time for an adventure?
A rip just appeared in the space-time continuum.
It is a doorway into the future.
A little girl called Alice leads,
a rabbit holding a watch,
a man wearing a top hat
and a small group
who look more like
playing cards than people.
Just before she passes through the door
she turns
and looking at you
she shouts,
Come on,
we can’t stay here any more.
There’s places to go
and things to do.

I thought you came across very clear Bobbi. Everything you have typed above was what I heard when I listened to you.
We are always very critical of ourselves I find.

I am aware that in many ways I cannot be who I once was.
Perhaps that makes me more self critical but maybe in some ways that is not a fault.
I’m glad to hear that I can be heard.

Re-purposing the plateau.
New heights to climb.
I walk towards
the doorway into the future.
It is now or never.
Alice has got
the playing card people,
the top hat man
and the rabbit
with his watch
through the doorway.
She turns,
waves and shouts,
COME ON,
and follows the others.
I wish I had a map
with this plateau
and
that doorway
on it.
I can’t stay here
dithering
I must get to
the future
while the door
is still open.
Once through the portal
I look around me.
It is a bit disappointing
Everything seems
much as it always had.
A guard stands
at the entrance
exit
or
whatever it is.
I wonder why
he looks strangely like
Lewis Carroll.
He tells me
I can pass
back through the portal
to the plateau
any time.
it
could become
a place
to wind down
and
chill out,
but
moving forward
into the future
would be more rewarding
right now.
I wish I had that map
but in a way
just being here
is
laying a trail
and creating a chart.
I see
the white rabbit
way ahead
over there,
he’s checking his watch.
does that mean the adventure has begun?

) - I have no idea how you once were, but I know you as you are now and I don’t think I would want to change you into something else. You come across great - you are being way too harsh on yourself. As @EmeraldEyes would say “Snap out of it!!”
But go ahead, do what you feel you have to. It’s your life, it’s your choice, let no man tell you what to do and let no man tell you what not to do, but remember one thing - behind every great man there is an even greater woman. Remember also, No Woman, No Cry.

Oh @Bobbi is forever moving forward @Manjib, I read it in his writing all the time, and see it in the way he moves in his videos. Bobbi is certainly not the kind of man to give up, rest a while on a plateau, for sure, we all need that. But Bobbi has too many interests to explore and challenges to meet, he’ll never waste too much time idling on his plateaus😉
Tell me I’m not wrong Bobbi 
Beside, we all need a break from being positive all the time. The brain likes a reset every once in a while, it needs a purge of all the dross, empty the deletions bin and a reboot to reset the balance and get things running more smoothly forward again😄
And I’m loving this version of Alice, can’t wait for the next installement. A clever use for that tale

As promised, the tale continues.
Learning, and far to go, thanks for taking a look.
Finding a map in Nevereverland.
Stranger and stranger
shape shifters
on the starboard bow.
As I look
the white rabbit
begins to change
its floppy ears
have gone
now it has
a scarecrow head
the watch
has turned
into a digital device
with a map displayed.
this isn’t Kansas
says the scarecrow
looking again at the map
Over there
is a gravestone.
The epitaph reads
“Immortality
didn’t work out.”
The top hat man,
has no hat,
no hair
and
dark, dark glasses
He interrupts,
saying.
"We need to climb.
Up there.
Where those clouds are
there is a mountain.
We start to move
in that direction.
Want to buy some climbing gear?
It is expensive,
yes,
but you will be able
to climb.
Faster and higher.
You really can
buy yourself
out of here.
No cash?
take out
a loan.
The little girl
with the playing card people
has changed her name
to Dorothy
She has
fat lips
and
a strong desire
to influence.
Let’s try the door over there.
I can see it.
It’s marked on the map
with a large letter
P
for plateau.
Been there.
Have the
T shirt.
Moving along . . .
Fragments of a broken existence
swirl around in the great
washing machine of life.
There are towels,
glimpses of socks,
a pair of knickers,
a T shirt with
the word
PLATEAU
across its front.
A solitary trainer
bumps around.
the machine
turns faster.
Items appear, then disappear.
The pack of cards turns into
the crew of
the Starship
Enterprise.
and
Dorothy,
speaking with the voice
of Captain Kirk,
announces,
“We must boldly go
where no one
has gone before.”
We’ve had
Alice and Dorothy.
I’m still waiting,
for the red queen,
the prime monster,
and the
washing powder plot.
how will it all end?
