Give your carer a thought, a bunch of flowers or a big kiss, whatever is appropriate

I just stumbled out to the kitchen to make myself a brew.

There were a few bits of washing up in the bowl. So I washed, dried and put them away.

That’s one less task for ‘she who must be obeyed’ thought I.
I might get the milk in off the door step too.

Then I had a thought.

Maybe those of us who have experienced stroke at first hand should do something, within our capabilities, to say thank you to those caring for us.

So I declare this “Thank your Carer” week.

A token of thanks is the least they deserve. This occasion is valid all year round, as is their Care.

I regularly thank my other half for all he does for me & also send flowers to my friends when they help too. Hubby doesn’t rwally like flowers :grin:

But yes a big thank you to all the carers out there without who’m we might be in a bit of a pickle.
