Yes it is the way our head should be but as we as stroke survivors know this is a difficult mindset to have. I have like many others first hand experienced the pain and difficult thoughts and saw this picture on a counselling forum, and it’s just something that’s stuck with myself, being kinder to ourselves and creating a good head space to help us on our recovery.
