Hi! I had a haemorrhage stroke in February just over a week after I took out a life insurance policy. Great timing! Does anyone know if I have to notify my policy holder that I’ve been in hospital and had the stroke?
Any advice appreciated!

@joopifer welcome to the forum. Sorry you’ve had a stroke. I don’t think you have to tell them unless it has a critical illness cover included. I would ring them & check though as your policy and stroke were so close together & underwriting of it may not have been finalised. If you are in any doubt you should always check with them.
