Didn’t you go on holiday a few weeks ago, how did that go for you?
Sure did just up the coast to a place called Southwold lovely place had a 3 bed holiday home all en suite for 6 days all my 3 children and partners turned up at various times plus my grandson my wife loved it been trying to get it arranged for ages, to be honest it tired me out, and had to dip out of the big sunday lunch as my appetite was not up to it, but it was wonderful overall and so glad i did it.
lovely of you to remember
thanks
Wattsy
But I’m sure it was all worth it for the good time you all must have had together and that’s what counts Beautiful country over that side; never been to Southwwold but a little further north Great Yarmouth when out on the Norfolk Boards
This is confusing me as the GP gets my creatinine levels checked every so often because of being on a Statin, ( also I have ME/CFS) , maybe they are looking to see if level drops too low due to the Statin? I suppose I assumed they were checking in case levels are too high.
Everyone seems to have quite varied experiences with their GP, I guess that is because the severity and type of Stroke they had varies a lot? Also geographical I expect.
Just read the posts about kidneys so that was enlightening.
That’s because you’re confusing creatinine blood tests with creatine. Notice the spelling.
Creatine is a chemical made by the body that supplies energy mainly to muscles. This test is done to see how well your kidneys work. Creatinine is removed from the body entirely by the kidneys . If kidney function is not normal, the creatinine level in your blood will increase.
Thank you for this info., Ian. It looks like they keep an eye on kidney function, which is good.
Very interesting what is being said here…I am 6 weeks since stroke …just left arm and hand and am doing great. It’s you mentioning brain fatigue….I’ve got 2 brain aneurysms one been coiled and one got a web device in it…the fatigue I had after both operations which lasted over 2 yrs is the same as I’ve got now …so different than body fatigue….so very hard to get over…take care everyone.
