What is Carers Week?

Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges unpaid carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK. It also helps people who don’t think of themselves as having caring responsibilities to identify as carers and access much-needed support.

This year (2025), the Carer’s Week is from 09 - 15 June.

I do get obsessed about incorrect use of apostrophes and maybe I am guilty of doing it myself. Just for a bit of fun or even edification, shall we have a vote on what we think this should be.

I would just like to say a big thank you to ALL carers out there. You are amazing people and I havecthe greatest respect for you all.

My hubby has been the best since my stroke & I still couldn’t do it without him.
