Hey Ann - Well done on the puzzles and the hidden text - as our friends from across the pond would say “You gaaaat it !”
I thought it was going to be another wash out on the connections and nearly gave up a few times, but it pays to be patient and let the brain do some work.
I am very pleased with the outcome which came with a bit of luck for the blue group, but “you make your own luck” - the purple group bars are American names as the only one I recognise is the Mars bar - the UK has a Crunchy but that already has the letter i.e. it is not a Crunch bar

I am not sure if I have already told you this about the weather, but my first ever job was on a building site and I was working on a house renovation with some builders, one of whom was a [lovely] Irishman.
The house we were renovating was obviously owned by a wealthy person and it was in the North West (Manchester to be exact) so the weather wasn’t always great. One day we were standing under cover on a rainy day (the boss wasn’t around, otherwise we wouldn’t have been standing around
) and the Irishman (and here it would be better in person and also if I could do an Irish accent which is really what made it for me) chirped “Miszzerable weather, for a miszzerable place!” I can’t do justice for this pearl - it is something I have never forgotten and often tell this story. It tickles me - the dry Irish wit!
I can’t honestly say how today has been as I really don’t recall. I got up at 2pm having had a terrible night as Mum was troubled and we just couldn’t work out what was ailing her. In the end, I just had to admit defeat and went to bed at 6am.
Luckily, she must have “cried” herself to sleep
and then had a nice refreshing body wash and hair wash and I am told by my sister she was fine all morning
Today I have taken the “executive” decision to reintroduce probiotic yoghurt to her diet - something we tried before but discontinued after a while. I plan to do this for one week to reset or improve her gut microbiome. I am doing the same for myself by eating more fermented foods, but she is nil-by-mouth and so I can’t give her these
Since returning from the hospital, stopping Asprin and going onto Omeprazole, she has taken a long time to adjust, but she does seem to be getting there but occasionally has a bad day. I have to say, her bad days now seem bad and prolonged !!
But overall, she is still doing incredibly well and if anything she is better than she has ever been since the stroke i.e. her recovery just continues and she reaches and sets new milestones
She is just so adorable and it’s always worth it in the end. Today, my sister got her to caress a balloon to help her relax. It was so nice to see her relax from this action.
