I recall the early days of you venturing into zoom meetings with a small group of us here. We were extremely grateful for those get togethers and I got a lot out of it. Since returning to work I no longer have the time (or energy) to join them but I am sure anyone wishing to try it out won’t regret it. Bobbi doesn’t bite (well not too hard) honest

It was two way arrangement. I think we all got something out of those meetings.
It does seems a very long time ago now.

I have been wondering whether to re-open with a new session, once a month.

It is difficult to judge which days are most useful and what time of day is best.

I could set something up, announce a time and a date, then watch to see if anyone is interested enough to turn up.

It would be a chance to meet other forum users, exchange ideas and get some feedback and inspiration.

Face to face isn’t as challenging as it might sound when the setting is relaxed and informal.

I think it would be welcome. You’re probably best picking a date & time & going for it. You’ll never find something that suits all.

Yes, I’ll think about that. Ann, thank you.

Here’s my latest:

I’ll have to be happy with small steps, but they will get me where I’m going, I am sure.

As hard as you have found it to do, on the plus side, you are building strength in the muscles your body requires to achieve that goal. So it is a strength building exercise in itself that you can incorporate in your daily exercise routine  And if you haven’t one then make it one

Thank you, I’ll bear that in mind.
Here’s a small white loaf I made in the middle of all this busy business, not cut yet, feels soft and squidgy:

Should be good. Easy to make. Easy to eat too.

We had fish, peas and chip pan roasties for tea, with home made garibaldi biscuits for afters.

Loved the little ode and of coarse I’m still here, but not for long we’re putting the Christmas tree up this afternoon :christmas_tree:

I still haven’t managed to make that fruit loaf yet but we’ve got a few quiet days now 'til the festivities start next week, got mince pies to make too. But I think I’ll just buy a Christmas cake this year, if I plan to do too much, I won’t get the half of it done

@Bobbi hope you enjoyed your trip to the coast. How far you have come and may there be many more trips too.

The more you practice getting up from the floor the easier it will become.

Have a slice of your white loaf for me :yum::yum:

Best wishes

I recommend that fruit loaf.

Cut the white loaf today. Hlary said it cuts nice, I said it tastes nice too.

Fresh home made bread. Works out at about 80p per loaf. (the egg it contains puts the price up)

Makes a nice cheese butty too.

@Mrs5K

I just made a thread about my trip to the coast but it seems to have been swallowed up by the system.

Not seen any new threads for a day or two, come to think of it.

Things seem very quiet.

Is something untoward happening?

In the meantime maybe this is worth a look

I’ve seen and commented on your post about your trip to the coast. Nitvsure why you aren’t seeing new posts. I had that issue a while back and it just resolved itself. I suspect a glitch rather than anything else.

Ps that bread definitely looks like it’ll make a nice cheese butty. Yum.

I see your thread too, but presumably it is quietening down a little as Christmas is round the corner. I didn’t even get a lookin yesterday between shopping, laundry and putting up decorations. And I’m hoping to get my presents wrapped tomorrow because I’m out shopping again today  :face_with_spiral_eyes: Got no turkey but we have the brussel sprouts

Has there been a mass panic buy on parsnips, I can’t even find a frozen one any of the major supermarkets I’ve been to in the past 2 days :flushed:
