Active Seniors

After my physio, I decided to join an active seniors exercise class locally. The philosophy of the class is to do things to your best ability and we are given easier options. Each class starts with senior aerobics and in the beginning there were things I could not do. Now I am not too bad. What cheers me up is that others in the class can see my improvement and tell me. One always makes we use my weak arm. We end with seated Tai Chi, which really has stabilised my weak arm and hand. It is also good to be with non stroke people as, apart from their own ailments, they are always encouraging.
