I’ve written a little about stroke on my blog.
I’m in my fourth year since that event. Still finding my way and with far to go.
This Forum has been a good place to share, to learn, to meet others and to have a little fun. Long may it continue.

I like the idea of a list if can do’s rather than listing can’t do’s. That fits with my mindset too.
I don’t normally keep a diary but around the time my husband was leaving hospital I bought a Page A Day one. Initially to write down appointments for physios, speech therapists, nurses etc.
Now I use it every day to record how sessions went, emails or phone calls I have to make, bills I have to pay etc. my memory is like a sieve!
I am finding it very useful.

Keeping a journal is a great idea. One day you’ll look back at it and see just how far you have both really come.
keep on keepin’ on

It’s a fab idea I have a goal book too, little aims I want to achieve even just putting a top on by myself!
Hi Sue,
Writing is fab. I joined a writing group at my local library and through that got going again on writing stories a book on some topics i like.
A diary is good but i for instance use a character in my story to face issues that concern me.
I have just drafted my first complete story that’s based on part of my youth through the eyes of someone else.
It’s good to get all the rubbish out of your head, a moan, and find somethings to be thankful for.
