It's that time of year, so how do you open a champagne bottle one-handed?
1. Wedge the bottle in a clamp or kitchen drawer.
2. Take a pair of poultry shears, a strong pair of scissors or a pair of secretaries. Close them about the cork above the top of the glass.
3. Wiggle the shears until the cork pops. Job done.
Alternatively, get someone else to do it.
