Time to start driving, hopefully

My husband had a stroke 2023 which has left him with paralysis on right side and aphasia.
I surrendered his license after his stroke on medical grounds as i really didn’t think he would drive again but here we are!
I am looking for pointers.
The positives are his vision is fine, not gad any seizures etc and he can read a number plate and then can either write it down or use a grid.
Is there a limit to the number of times you can apply to be assessed or can you just keep trying.
Any advice would be appreciated as before this he was the biggest petrol head out there!

@Stringyj there is another post on driving this morning too. I’ve copied a link to that one in below. There are a number of links within it re driving again too. Hopefully you will find some useful info there. If upi use the search :mag: option there are many more too. I think, but not 100% sure, that there is a limit to how many times you can reapply/be reassessed.

Hi @Stringyj

We have some information on driving after stroke on our website which may be helpful.

Hope it works out well for your husband.
