I had my stroke in July ,came out the blue , scared me and my family half to death. Three months on I feel much better,but occasionaly when I'm tied for fleeting moments my body can feel as if its about to stop working,no messages getting through from my brain, also when I yawn deeply my left side of my body momenteraly becomes paralyised , does anyone else get these symptoms?
Stroke is like the Spanish Inquisition, no-one expects it. When I yawn my left side spasms, so I have to be careful not to fall over.

Janet - that is so weird.. When I yawn, my neck muscle on my stroke side goes into cramp. I thought it was just me. I have to cough to get rid of it but can't swallow till it's gone.
Coughing can also trigger a reaction
