I have high hedges all around my garden and in need of a trim
Having seen a tv ad of a battery operated pole trimmer I investigated what my favourite brand was selling and after testing it for weight with me and my wife holding it I bought one and yesterday gave the hedges a haircut my son operated it as he is a gardener and fully fit at twenty and strong enough to complete the tasks we need but only with the right equipment
Hi Johnny, I am a great fan of STHL all my garden machinery is STHL, they offer tools that are high quality and well made and deliver quality results and are not expensive but more than the run of the mill mill names in Asia. Like ruining or makita
Hi mrfrederickson, what are you recycling? Not hedge cuttings, I hope - that’s what compost heaps are for - if you have room for one! I have 80 metres of 2 metre high by 2 metre deep, beech hedge - beautiful when trimmed nicely but it means a lot of cuttings ! I also use the coouncil’s brown bin for recycling some cuttings but I certainly would not drive to the recycling centrewith them - that is not too eco-friendly !
Best regards,
Bob. Isle.
