I have done session one on my mobile phone but my husband thinks I ham wasting my time. The phone is meant to be for seniors but he has given up on it. Will keep trying in spite of him.

Does the phone have internet access. I know the doro phone my late mum had didn’t have internet access. But I set it up with her number on an old tablet I had.

I think it does. It is very slow coming on. i shall have to bide my time. I might do more tomorrow. The instructions aren’t very good.

I apologise for not realising earlier that you need to own a mobile phone to get Whatsapp.

If you can tell us exactly what make and model your phone is, we could easily check on the internet if it is compatible and find the correct instructions to get setup if it is.

I don’t know what your budget is like but mobile phones are expensive.
However it is possible to pay much less by buying second hand.
This is something I have done successfully two or three times since I had my stroke.
There are reliable and reputable second hand online dealers.
My first purchase was for a very cheap phone, which lasted giving good service for a year or two. I went on to buy a more expensive phone, then one for my wife. They are great phones but were still much cheaper than buying new.
It is a good idea to get advice before taking the plunge.
The company linked below supplied first my phone then, later, a phone for my wife. I was happy with the deals we got.
Others might like to chip in here with advice and recommendations.
You can decide how much you want to pay and find a deal that suits you.
As far as tech is concerned. It can be a mind numbing minefield but there are enough of us on here to give you answers to your questions.
As in all things use this community to find the information you need from people who have been there.
