@Denise1 , even though I haven’t had a stroke, I know of people in my neighbourhood who have. I’d sometimes help their families with caring duties. Also they were friends of my mum (RIP). From what I’ve learned about stokes, it depends on the sort of stroke you’ve got. I’m told the worse the stroke is, the more fatigued you fell. I admit I’m only guessing. There are people on this forum who can give you better insight. I’m only speaking from a (ex-)carers perspective. My mum had a bad stoke but, unfortunately died 6 weeks ago (05/03/2026). Hope you get a better insight from stroke survivors. Good luck.

Stroke fatigue can affect anyone who has had a stroke and the severity of it isn’t necessarily related to the level of fatigue you might experience. It has to be managed by pacing, planning &preparing and ensuring you get plenty of rest even on the days you feel a bit better.
