Support in Devon

Hi - my mum (77) had a stroke about a month ago. She and her partner (my stepdad) will get one visit from the Devon Stroke Recovery Service before it’s closed down due to lack of funding in December. Does anyone know of any other stroke support networks in Devon that they could turn to? Thanks in advance.

Hi & welcome @simonc1 sorry to hear of your mums stroke. Have a look at this link to see if you can find any groups locsl to your mum.

Also you may want to look at iorgnisations like Age Concern who offer support groups too.

The Stroke Association also have a here for you service which you can look into here
