Phew, I’m exhausted with all the action. It is not good for my resolve to be more active, then sit and watch hours of rugby. So I’ve unearthed a magazine form the bag of tricks that I was ‘gifted’. (A friend was decluttering and gave me bags with books and old magazines. I think she was too lazy to take 'em to t’tip)

I find it very easy to do “sitting down” stuff instead of the exercising I should be doing. My biggest waste of time is Facebook. It’s great for keeping me informed, and if I just stopped there everything would be fine. What sends me off at a tangent though, is fake/AI posts. I know it’s a futile mission, but I feel I have to point out that the post and/or photo is nonsense and why it’s nonsense. All totally pointless, as, by then it has been shared and embellished multiple times and appears again a couple of days later (minus my comments!)
I take your comments about Facebook MinnieB. I avoided Facebook like the plague until my sister showed me some posts that were quite interesting. I did like to see local information posts and found them very helpful. I also joined a couple of ‘group’ craft sites which was great. But then the nasty vicious people started homing in. I did get embroiled in a bit of a personally targeted ‘discussion’ with a person who I assume didn’t know me. It became so bad that I contacted the police. Their only suggestion was ‘come off FB.’ The abuse did not stop even though I publicly warned the man about legal proceedings through FB if he did not stop. He didn’t ,so reluctantly I deleted my account. I was very sorry; because I did enjoy the info on there, but the fact that this moron didn’t know me but was claiming all sorts of sordid things about me. Even now I still get notifications from someone, I believe it could be him , but I can’t prove how he has got to me again. Hopefully, I’ve learned my lesson about sharing stuff, even on this site, but I find it very sad that something that was so enjoyable at the time, was ruined for me by one sick individual.
Facebook can be a scary place. I’m careful not to give away too much about myself online because there are too many nasty people about. If you want to go onto Facebook again you can always use a different name (not connected to your real identity), but it sounds as though you had a very unpleasant experience, so I understand your reluctance.
