Stroke and Urinary Incontinence Survey

Research participation requests are sent to the Stroke Association from external research institutions (e.g. universities and hospitals), which we post on My Stroke Guide.

We conduct basic checks on these before promoting but are not involved in their running. This means we cannot comment on trials and have no affiliation with them.

University of Central Lancashire

We are conducting an online survey to better understand the use of pelvic floor therapies for people who have experienced urinary incontinence after having a stroke.

If you have had a stroke and subsequently experienced urinary incontinence, and if you have heard of or ever used pelvic floor muscle therapies (even if it wasn’t just after your stroke), we would be really grateful if you could complete our survey.

The survey takes about 5 minutes to complete. Your participation would contribute to our understanding of these important areas.

We would also be really grateful if you could share this survey link with other people who you think might meet the above criteria, so that we can reach a wide audience and gather a diverse range of perspectives.

Here is the link to the survey: https://uclan.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_7WcpKJrIgJKZaw6

If you follow the link, you will be directed to an information sheet which describes our research in more detail. If you are interested in completing the survey, please read the information sheet before continuing with the survey.

Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with Angela Chang at HYChang1@uclan.ac.uk if you have any questions.
