I saw this on the Metro newspaper last Thursday and I just had to share it with you.
I have always been intrigued by artists and I include musicians and actors in this.
I find it amazing and I can’t imagine how they achieve some of the things they do.
The picture is a giant mural - a giant pair of eyes staring out at the sky from the top of a deserted multi-storey car park. It is larger than a football pitch and was painted using household rollers and brooms.
"Close up, it looks like a bunch of paint splats but from a satellite it’s a photo-real portrait.
Love this, manjiB. I wish we could have more genuine ‘street art’ in our towns. Our little town looks awful with empty shops, filthy pavements and graffiti. Years ago I lived in Wiltshire right in the heart of crop circle activity. To some it was sheer vandalism of the farmers crops. But I was so impressed by the beautiful patterns and intricate geometric shapes. As we found out later, they were not done by aliens, but local people with planks and string. I’d love to have seen how they did them! Best wishes Norma
