Speaking

If you like me can’t speak post -stroke from aphasia or ataxia or like me as a result of having a trachiostomy. I recommend a site called beautiful voices which I’m using to teach me to talk again. It’s free so far but you can pay for additional features if you want.

Recovery from the effects of stroke can be a very long lonely road.

Well done for reaching out to others working in the same direction.

To know you are not alone in dealing with all this can be a great help.
Your efforts strike a chord with others who might be encouraged to reach out as well.

We can learn much from one another so this forum can be a great point of contact.

There are ups and downs on this journey and we can give moral support to one another.
Helping to celebrate successes and being there when things don’t work out so well.

On behalf of others treading this same path I want to thank you for speaking up and providing something useful to your peers.

Our disabilities need not prevent us from having a useful place in this world.

May you soon be shouting out and sharing what you have within.

keep on keepin on
