before stroke happened I would collect militaria, I buy cool old junk, I bought Crazy Pig & The Great Frog silver jewellery, I buy / sell on e bay. work wasn’t interesting ( nor the people that work there spoke nor are interesting) so I made structures out of coffee stirrers on my own on breaks, great escape… I have a ship in bottle made by ww2 Italian prisoner…I wanted to learn how was put in bottle so made a copy… and learned how it fit in…the light house was finished the Friday before Stroke, its still at work so need to go to locker so I can remember how it looks…not sure my head and hands will work together again… will try again when fell better with stanley knife… have a look an see what you think now… “H” out!

These are great! It’s always good to have a hobby. Hopefully you can get back to it soon or maybe you could try a new hobby post stroke too.
One of my hobbies at the moment is pottery, I’ve not been doing it long but I’m enjoying it!

I keep busy as I can but tired easliy, local wood worker is helping out hobbiy task that I wanted done but cant so at least they no done as one last concern. wasnt allowed pottery at school as class was a tough lot… clay was chucked around and it was banned. aww well I was good at wood work and got a GCSE did metal work but preferred wood. do a bit of both at home in shed design jewellery… making a wax lost cast pendant for me all for now “H” out

Love them @Citizen8. I’m sure you’ll get back to it in time. You’re still early on in your recovery so every hope for improvements. The key is to keep trying. The first few might not be to your previous standard but you’ll get there.

the was collected from work… I took 14 months of 30min tea breaks I finished it on the Friday 18th April… Stroke on the 21 st I didn’t remember the detail Id done… dont feel really interested in it any now… best that its finished “H” Out !
