Does anyone manage to wear an orthotic brace with sandals
I’ve only ever managed mine with trainers 
I can only wear mine with trainers. Sandals wouldn’t be able to hold the orthotic in place sadly

I have tried but as Ann says can only wear trainers with my orthotic. Not good in this weather! Once indoors I take the orthotic off and very carefully walk around in bare feet. Touch wood so far so good but am going to ask the opinion of my physio when she comes next week.

So I have been walking minus my orthotic very successfully until today. The joy of not wearing it! When I was walking outside my husband had firm hold of me but inside the house where 90% of the house is carpeted we werent so careful.
Result walked into house today probably not taking as much care as I should have done and foot turns over and Im on the floor. I am so cross with myself although no damage done but damage to my ego! So back to my ugly but safe orthotic 
Oh no sorry to hear that. Try not to be too annoyed with yourself. When you have your confidence back try again as it sounds like it was going really well.
