I got 23 but had to dig deep in the brain!! Used to use a dot matrix computer at college and fax machines at work! Good challenge ![]()
I have to admit I didn’t try it! I remember computers which spewed paper. I remember giving a speech at UNI and the tutors said nothing about the speech but were interested in the printing paper I’d written the speech on! Happy days.
I never used them after college
, but i guess it was all new as such. I had my shorthand to contend with, so computers were something I didn’t really get into in the end. I still can’t get the hang of technology!!
@Sue22 , your going back a bit there. I remember dot-matrix printers very well. Very noisy. I was a kid (7yrs) at school when I saw one.
@Sue22 , it depends on the technology. My mum was like that. She could work the cable TV box, she can turn on the TV (the basic bits anyway) but iPhones and the internet was beyond her. A friend of mine wife doesn’t like games consoles. Yet, lately she got into quite a few games (from Sonic the Hedgehog to Dark Souls saga). She even had a tattoo of a character for the Sonic series (Tails the Fox). Amazing once you try.
