@Manxman thank you. It’s great to read that you’ve helped someone even in just a small way. You’re right, there is a lot of loss with stroke but I feel there is also a lot of gain.
I would prefer not to have had a stroke but it has helped me realise whats important in life, helped me sort out things that had gotten on top of me & of course “meeting” the people on this forum has been truly inspiring & everyone has helped get me through some tough times.
I’m so pleased that you have reached out to some friends you’d lost touch with. I hope that’s the start of a great friendship developing again.
