Tonight marks the debut of our first ever TV advert, during Gogglebox (Channel 4 9pm).

This awareness campaign features real stroke survivors talking about what a stroke was like for them. We are really proud of this work and want your feedback, you can reply to this thread or contact us on social media. This is likely to be emotional for most stroke survivors, so please reach out for support if you need it.

Short but effective for me. I felt emotional after seeing it. I don't know why but I did. I had my stroke two years ago last Sunday. Right now it is the acceptance and patience part of my mantra "Persistence. Determination. Courage. Patience. Acceptance. Every movement counts." that I have to work on. Hopefully this TV advert will help to gain more recognition and understanding of stroke and its life changing and devastating effects. Best of luck everyone! xxx
