Hello everyone, I had my stroke in February 2023. My aftercare at the hospital has been rubbish but my GP excellent, I know she doesn’t know everything and she can’t help with my ever changing numbness.
I’ve had right sided numbness from about 2 weeks after the stroke, it’s been changing over time but now I’m finding it’s very intense and causing pain. I’ve scoured Mr Google and I can’t find anything about it, only thing that came close was Restless Leg Syndrome.
In the beginning my numbness caused loss of hearing and tinnitus, it also brought on my cataracts from nearly ready to definitely, so they were done. I’ve also had to have a shoulder surgery because of the numbness I didn’t know I’d damaged it and that is still on going.
Is or has anyone experienced the same thing because I would be very grateful to hear from you.
Hi Ann, I have experienced many a difficulty after stroke, including numbness. In your feet / hands (peripheral neuropathy) ? In which case, have you tried dipping into a bucket of Epsom salts ? (Magnesium Sulphate) I will be doing a clip on the power of Sulphur on nerves.
Hi pando, thanks for your reply, it’s not just my feet and hand it’s the complete right side and at the moment the main area is my torso. You don’t realise you’ve pulled a muscle until the pain hits you, I think it would be difficult to immerse myself in anything! I’m having ongoing problems with my shoulder too, , I’ve obviously done something I didn’t feel and now movement is difficult. Another visit to see the Orthopaedic doctor next week.
Yes, I have the same problem. So your nerves are in trouble, is my guess. Aloe Vera contains sulfur too ; getting back to nature is a wise way of nourishing the body
