I just thought I’d leave this here in case it helps anyone.
I have found that noise cancelling headphones not only help me with overwhelm, I also find my movements are more fluid when dressing if I listen to music through them while I’m getting ready.
I have noise reducing ear plugs rather than noise cancelling & they definitely help with the sensory overload. Glad you have found something that helps you.
If you don’t mind me asking, what kind do you have Gaina ?
My daughter was suggesting these for the gym. I have a pair of cordless headphones which are fine to listen to my own music and the gym’s pipped in music doesn’t normally interfere much. But when there’s a fitness class, they not only play different music over the gym music, but they also blast it to drown out all music including my own. Needless to say I can’t get out of the gym quick enough, it scrambles my brain so much
Thanks Gaina, my son actually went and me the Sony WH-CH720N on Amazon last night, so I’m not going to complain It arrived today so I’ll wait for son to link it to my phone tonight
Actually there was no setting up to as my previous are also Sony cordless, so I’m actually wearing them as I type, though I can’t actually hear my key depression And on the plus side, because they fit around the shell of my ears, they’re not pressing against my hearing aids, which usually hurt after an hour or two, so its a win win
