Thank you for the lovely reply Janet.

Even though it's the worse reason to meet people I think I'd have gone mad without this site. Mum can kind of say yeah now and again and has said no very clear a couple of times.

Is your mum able to walk Janet? My mum is pretty much bed bound and needs the winch to go from chair to bed  she has a tv in her room but won't have it on and I'm wondering if it's because it's too much for her brain to cope with?

It's mum's 88th birthday in February so will try the singing ?

Just taking everyday as it comes at the moment

No I don't work at the moment. I think mum will never leave the care home and I hate the thought of her in there but know she's well looked after.

I suffer badly with depression and anxiety so it's all a struggle but am trying to reach out for help more.

No he has not.   He s much better now. Definitely on an upward trend.
