I have walked out to the car for a tip run with my wife no stick and walked back in all okay first time I have left the house without my stick since before the stroke

It may have passed by unnoticed but i thought how monumental it was for me having not been out on my own legs since before the stroke.

Well done mr f. I often forget my stick wnen im going anywhere in a car , which i generally take as a positive,in that i can walk short distances without noticing i havent got it with me. the negative to me is my failing to remember again! Overall i take it as a sign of progress because im doing sonething in the way i previously did, i do keep a spare folding cane in the car though. Which gets a fair bit of use.
