My head is feeling pretty much like a shed load of worries, struggling to sleep…bombarded my GP with loads of questions in a letter and just waiting her response

Oh Thanks for asking!
I hope you are ok ?

Hi @KivetonGuy
Just an FYI, but Charlotte on the different strokes Facebook page is currently doing a PhD thesis on - I’m a little hazy - either Jack the ripper, or 19th century serial killers, or just serial killers - just though I’d mentioned it

:slight_smile: :+1:

Probably best if you’re interested and I’ll make an intro rather than you just pop out the woodwork like a stalker!!!

Hi Fkbennett thankyou for asking, that’s really kind of you. Today, feeling a bit sad not really sure why, sure I’ll feel better soon, sometimes it just catches me :pensive: hope you are well and having a good day

@KivetonGuy

It’s going to be perfectly ‘normal’ for a while i’m afraid to have this whirlwind in your head.

I can promise that at least for me it does get better with time…

Good that you’ve been able to get your thoughts down and ask your GP - may i ask is that online or a physical letter? Is your wife helping?

Also is your wife ok? She must be so worried too and there is support available for carers too - lots on this forum so she may or may not want to reach out.

Keep letting us know how you’re doing and ask questions!

Thank you for asking about me - I’m as good as it gets at the moment!

Stay cool

@Elle1

I often just have a cry for no reason!! I actually enjoy it and embrace it but that’s just me!

Have you got anything nice that you can do to chher you up or help get it out? Watch a romantic comedy (if you are into that kind of thing) or for me I like a good (rubbish) epic space adventure with great speeches and heroism like Armageddon or Independence Day etc!!

Cheesy but does it for me :rofl:

stay cool :wink: :polar_bear:

Fkbennett Ah thankyou yes had a good cry, it was a bit tricky as I was trying to eat my beans on toast at the time but I just about managed it! Felt better afterwards though, just couldn’t hold it in today, couldn’t find a polar bear but it is a bear! take care🐻

I am glad you felt better afterwards. I do have one piece of very good advice for you, though…beans on toast should be replaced with triple chocolate cake!!! or at least bacon,.it smells much better.

OOOH, Lindor truffles!!! My favorite, and even though dark chocolate is my usual preference, their milk chocolate is the best!

@KGB i too am a lindt choc fan. Same as @DeAnn love their milk choc truffles. I wouldn’t say no to any of them though and I’m usually a crisp fiend :grin:
