I am finding the new layout of the site totally confusing compared to how it was before, when I clicked on the App before, it opened with the latest subjects first, new or unread, much easier to follow, I don’t like this new layout, so I think I will e deleting the app, sorry.
You can chage the layout back to how you had it from within your Settings

@Injebreck99 - Can’t say I noticed a change in the layout.
Not sure when the change took place or what the old layout was.
But to see the latest subjects first, new or unread, I find that if I click on Topics at the top of the panel on the left, you get a bar at the top from which you can click on the options
Categories, Latest, New, Unread, Top.
In the below screen print I have the topics in Latest shown.
In the one below, I clicked on New is clicked, so only showing new topics
The below is showing the Unread
I am not sure if this is how the old format looked.
Also I am using the laptop version and not the app so I don’t know if the app is different.
We’d be sorry to see you go if you feel the format change has made the app less user friendly
Do give this a try and see what you think.
Best wishes.
I use the app & to get a list of topics I click on the 3 lines top right select topics then can either select latest, new or unread. I usually select unread or new.
We would be sorry to see you go.
@Anna_Moderator maybe you can look at the issue for @Injebreck99 ?
I’m still on my laptop.
I haven’t got my head around using my smartphone yet.
My YouTube channel analysis says of the traffic that passes through it:
93% is smartphone
3% is TV
2% is tablet
1% is PC
Wow
So I really am a dinosaur.
I’m finding or rather not finding how to’s.
The assumption is that somehow we will find away through on our own.
That applies to stroke, technology and the world in general.
We are going to have to help one another.
As I didn’t even know there was an SA app you better not listen to me. (apart from taking a look at the possibility of an instruction set or manual)
I think I’ll get back to my YouTube channel, lots to learn there too.
I will look at the SA app to be sure, It’ll probably make a new man of me.
(hate those fiddly smartphone keyboards BTW - old sausage fingers here can’t cope)
can’t find Stroke Association app hmm

Hi @Injebreck99
I’m sorry you’re having problems with different views.
You can personalise your settings so that it the view shows exactly how you like it.
If you click on your profile and go to ‘Preferences’ you will need to click on the ‘Interface’ option. If you go to ‘Default Homepage’ you can change this to the option you want - either Category, Latest, News, Unread or Top. You’ll need to scroll down to the bottom of the page to press ‘Save Changes’ for your preference to take effect.
I hope this helped, but please let me know if you need any further assistance.
Anna
That reminded me of my old boss, he used to complain about his sausage fingers and dainty little keyboards. He’s a Danish guy six and feet tall with big hands that could barely cope with a full keyboard, eh really was a very Great Dane

You’re the one who normally tells me this, but I will reverse roles for once
I am not sure if this is a YouTube hoax or it it really is possible, but the below video which I also added to another post earlier but which did not get a take up, shows how to add an external keyboard and mouse to a Smartphone.
If I ever get around to seriously using a Smartphone I may try it. In the meantime, I am searching for refurbished computers to replace this one.
I believe android can handle that also will work with blue tooth connection.
Never tried it but have a few spare keyboards. only needs an adaptor, which I’m certain I have.
( USB-C to USB-A Adaptor) on Amazon UK or Ebay UK.
I’ll need a big back pocket to keep the keyboard in, not sure if there is a supplier.
Apparently the keyboard is recognised as a HDI human interface device. Could also be other things like mouse, etc.
