Now I’m starting

Dermo Neuro Modulating: Manual Treatment for Peripheral Nerves and Especially Cutaneous Nerves ”, by Diane Jacobs

I’m still reading “The Brain that Changes Itself” by Norman Doidge that was recommended by one of the posters recently. It is quite fascinating, but I am a slow reader and I like to digest what I read.

I don’t know why Edward Taub’s methods are widely used. Not sure if it is feasible to join his clinics for rehab i.e. location, cost, availability etc. I first need to finish the book and understand the theory and then see if it can’t be done at home.

Good book ; poor monkeys had their afferent ganglia cut by Taub ; all in the progress of science I suppose. What was the name of the TENS machine for feet you recently mentioned, please?

Yes, poor monkeys, but it seems they didn’t actually suffer much. It is a moral dilemma for sure.

The TENS machine was Revitive Medic - we got it from Revitive as they gave a deal. You can also get VAT relief - it may not amount to much but when / if you’re watching the pennies …

Revitive Medic

Thanks, I’m enquiring for a friend who asked me about a new TENS machine that works on the Triceps via Vagus nerve. I have a TENS machine but don’t ever use it. Talk about costs of machines that we don’t gel with !
