Just to show the size of the problem and my fortitude in getting up and down four flights of stairs they were a challenge even before the stroke
Another big challenge is my mother in law’s steps I call mount doom to her house
That would be a very interesting ride on a stair-lift.
Tell him to throw a rope out the window and haul you up!
Serious respect for taking that on. It is some work out.

I wish it had a lift but not a tower block.
It wasworse coming down as all my weight has on my bad highly sensitive left foot.
So bad now I’m considering amputation to remove the weak ankle drop foot and pain.
No sign of pain clinic referral been on the agenda since last October.
It may not be as simple as amputation taking the pain away you know. But that’s something that would need to be discussed with your gp, pain clinic or an orthopaedic consultant. It’s not a guaranteed solution for all types of foot pain, you could well still experience the pain

Hi Lorraine I’ve been waiting since October last year to attend pain clinic with no appointment as yet.
There are good and bad days but in the meantime I have increased my gabapentine dose to the original level it was at the outset of it’s used to see if it makes a difference!!
Absolutely Sue that and my long suffering wife bless her who hates leaving me in the car at the bottom of the property Valley living totally hate it but escaped after 29 years and multiple moves may get back down south before I die but unlikely
