MR FLOPPY is in town

with the stroke and high blood pressure medication .,my get up and go has got up and gone., the lead has fallen out my pencil .the little one eyed soldier wont stand to attention or report for duty
obviously the little blue pill is out of the question, tried that once and thought my heart would explode (side symptom of high BP)
can anyone make any sensible alternative suggestions or will i just have to carry on and hope it fixes itself

know what you mean,

wait until your dreams start to turn you on, then you know things are ‘still alive’. It will take a bit of time perhaps, your body is in repair mode, after all. One day you’ll get your mojo back, step by step… good luck,

There are some posts on the topic on the forum hang on and I’ll have a look…

Here you go

I think that some more as well but you’ll have to search…

That was a subject that arose at a meeting I was at the other day. There are medications that affect, libido, the menstrual cycle, ability to ejaculate and so on.

The medicine men know all about it but generally are unwilling to discuss the subject. Its not on those bits of paper that come in the box with the pills either. It seems the information is around about everyday commonly used drugs. So I would say it is very likely a hidden side effect of something you are taking.

I was taking a tablet that caused feet, hands and a testicle to swell up.
One tablet at a time I tried not taking it, but continuing with the others, until I discovered what caused he effect.

The doctor was not interested. When I told him I was not going to take any more of that drug he reluctantly suggested an alternative. The same effect returned and when I checked it turned out I was being supplied with the same drug under a different name.

I again said I was not going to take that drug no matter what name was on the packet. Once the swelling reduced I began to be able to walk and gain some mobility.

My advice is not advice it is a true report of my activity.
We each make our own way through this world.
It is not always easy, or cut and dried.

Please forgive me for making ‘a big thing’ out of this sensitive subject.

You could try ginseng root, perhaps, @pando, you have insight into this through your knowledge of Chinese medicine? Your stroke is still quite recent, it is difficult to know how each body responds to the shock and subsequent misfiring that manifests after stroke.

Panax (Red/Korean) Ginseng will definitely help (Nitric oxide helps blood flow)
Ylang ylang, essential oil definitely. Ginger, rosemary, lavender. Shilajit too, of course.
