Sorry don’t know how to add to my original post .
So had the phone call from the Walton centre .
Went very well I asked about 15 questions , very happy with the answers.
Was this a hamorrhagic stroke ? Yes
Is this the type that only 15 % of strokes are this type . Yes
Could I have another stroke . Yes
Could it be fatal or life altering next time . Yes but it depends where it is
I have gone 4 years since my last stroke is that good . Yes very good
Was the bleed in the same place as last time . No but in the same area
What size was this one . 6 mm and last time ? 20 mm
The older I get will I have more and more strokes . It’s a very rare condition, he could not say but possible.
Was my sudden stabbing pain behind my eye the actual start of the stroke . Yes it was .
Is this a classic symptom. Yes it can be
Were the headaches I was getting in the weeks prior a warning sign. No just coincidence.
Any treatment now . No , but having a new MRI scan I not had before with dye to look even more in-depth as to what happens to the vessels etc etc
His blocked vein is no worse than his last scan which is fantastic news
Walton also wants me to meet with a neurosurgeon so he is familiar with me and me him in case any thing more serious happens etc etc
So all in all very happy with the phone call .
Thank you all for your welcome messages etc etc
