Mind tunnel

Weird this one. Sometimes when I’m awake mostly in bed my head thoughts feel like I’m in some sort of time tunnel whizzing backwards or forwards. Mainly backwards at speed. It’s though my brain is recharging itself. It’s not scary just a very weird feeling. Never had it before the stroke.

Anyone else feel like this or am I the only one.

I’m pretty sure that some time in the future you had invented a time machine.
Of course you don’t remember. It has yet to happen.

Every now and again in the future you have a yearning to return to read and write on the Stroke Forum and to reconnect with the online community here.

You hop in your time machine, set the coordinates and press the start button.
The weird sensations are undoubtedly what happens as you cross dimensions and arrive in this time space.

One day, when you eventually invent your contraption, you will understand all this.

Until then you will have to take my word for it and perhaps enjoy the experience.

@gnasher & @Bobbi You both made me smile. I am snowed under with work atm and you both made me smile.

I’m snowed under as well, with literal snow. Had a lot of snow fall last night in the Midlands.

Never had it but I’m envious, I like benign feelings like that.

I’ve found this, often when I’m still wired when I go to bed. I have a good routine now to make sure I spend time relaxing before sleep. I mainly get the whizzing thoughts when I’ve been really busy or have got back particularly late and gone straight to lights out without spending a little time calming down.
